Choreography

  • Choreographic compositions based on verses of classical and medieval poets namely Kalidas (1987), Amaru (1990), Guru Gobind Singh, Amir Khusro (1991), Surdas, Govind Swami, Meera, Padmakar (1985) Dev (1993) and Ghalib (1991) revealing many aspects and nuances of love, desire, devotion, waiting, joy, separation etc.
  • Ten States of Separation : Compositions of based on Sufi poetry (1988).
  • Vivaksha : A whole composition based on Parmelu (Nritta composition including different sounds of nature, percussion instruments namely tabla, Pakhawaj and verse) using it as an extended metaphor -1993 at Bindadeen Mahotsava, New Delhi.
  • A Kathak composition on a fragment of a modern French poem by Yves Bonnefoy -1993, French Embassy, New Delhi.
  • Kutumb (The Family) : A choreographic celebration of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam' (Earth is A Family) UN Family Year -1994 at India International Centre, New Delhi.
  • Reaching for Each Other : A multi-media presentation featuring dance, poetry ( Ashok Vajpeyi), paintings ( S.H. Raza) and music (Satysheel Deshpande) -Festival D'Avignon France-1995, French Embassy-1995, New Delhi and NCPA-1996, Mumbai.
  • An experimental performance around a single Kathak bole consisting of there syllables in Nritta stream avoiding some elements popularly thought to be essential. Also, doing Abhinaya featuring 'Chhandas' without any 'Thumri'-1996, ICCR, New Delhi.
  • Aavratti : A choreographic composition in Kathak in seven parts on planets namely Earth, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn with Music by Shubha Mudgal for CPC, Doordarshan-1996, New Delhi.
  • Doosaro Na Koi : A choreographic production entirely based on Meera Bai's poetry with Music by Madhup Mudgal.
  • Kabir : A short programme on some of the rare verses of Kabir. Music by Shri Sarathi Chetterji.

Film & Television

The Far Pavilion (Film)
A Dance sequence performed in a BBC Film "The Far Pavilion" in 1982. This film is dubbed in Many Languages.

Meera Bellet (TV Bellet)
Done the Leading Character in Meera Bellet Choreographed by Guru Kundan Lal Gangani in 1982 for Upgrah Doordarshan Kendra, Delhi.

Solo Performance (TV Production)
Performed in the inauguration ceremony of Jaipur Doordarshan Kendra.
